We are all blessed with gifts and talents. Each of us are motivated and determined to work for what we want.
This is a page to showcase some of my achievements. I always remind myself that everything pays off at
the end. Don't ever give up on what you want. With hard work, you will reach your goal. I promise you that.

Honor Roll
Student Body Officer :2013-2014 & 2014-2015
For my seventh and eighth grade year, I was involved in my school's Associated Student Body. I ran for Treasurer. A year later, I ran for Associated Student Body President with my vice president, Almarie.
The poster on the right was made for our campaign. Almarie and I were running for President and Vice President for the following school year.
We help organize school events and lead the Associated Student Body. It continues to be a great experience with all my ASB members, advisors, and supportive students.
Before our meetings, I make the agenda and write down what needs to be discussed. I lead the meeting with the help of the advisors. This is a great way to practice responsibility, leadership, and organization.

A: We can emphasize these Christian-like actions during morning announcements, buddy days, and possibly a Bully-Free themed day. We plan to have enjoyable events and events we missed throughout the years such as a talent show, pi day, an art fair, and many more.
S: So do you want to have less bullying next year?

For ASB, we do our best to make different events happen. We host canned food drives, spirit days, enforce no bullying, and many more. We all have different jobs as the student government. Our main focus is to lead and set a good example for the school. On the right is a picture of one of the events we made happen. This event was an idea from one of the teachers. On this day, we celebrated our love for our city, San Francisco. ASB chalked out the outline of the letters, with the guidance of Mrs.Miranda, and Mr.Brian Louie took the fantastic picture. |
National Junior Honor Society
I am a lifetime member of the National Junior Honor Society. I have been inducted as a member of the club in my seventh grade year. For my eighth grade year, I was elected the President of the society. Being in the NJHS is an honor. You are viewed as an example for the rest of the school. Members help tutor younger students and have monthly meetings. |
Academic Decathlon
I was invited to be part of the Academic Decathlon for my seventh and eighth grade year. We take on different subjects to study. During the second and third quarter of the school year, we spend our time studying the materials that are given to us. For my seventh grade year, I studied religion and literature for a big "Super Quiz." For my eighth grade year, I studied two subjects as well, but it was religion and fine arts. I was the person who would need to study religion and take a 50-question test on the material. |
The picture on the right is a shot of the gym at St.Pius School where the Academic Decathlon was hosted. In the picture, we are setting up for the Super Quiz. Our decathlon team is competing with numerous schools in five different subjects. This quiz practices memorization, listening, and cooperation skills with all the team members. |
Science Fair
Science Fair School Representative: 2013-1015
For two consecutive years, I was chosen to compete in the Randall Museum Science Fair. For my first project, I tested the effect of a different pH level of different acids on a marker stain. It was such an honor to win an honorable mention with my first project. The following year, I tested how the age of a person affected their self-control. I had different people from a different age categories and tested how long they can resist temptation. I won third place with this project. |
High School Letters
In the beginning of the school year, all the eighth graders were applying for high school. It was a very stressful time for all of us. We had no idea how our future was going to turn out. All our work, applications, placement tests, and grades were going to be on our mind for the following months to come.
A few months later, we received our letters from the high schools we applied to. As I opened each of my letters from Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Mercy High School San Francisco, and Lick-Wilmerding, I was hesitant and anxious. As I read the letters, I was filled with joy and relief. It was an amazing feeling to know all that I had done and worked for paid off in the end.
Next fall, I am proudly saying that I am going to be a Lick-Wilmerding Tiger.
